2008 Educational Exposition!

SEE THE VIRGINIA STANDARDS OF LEARNING COME TO LIFE!

Students see the SOL's come to life as they explore Virginia's agriculture, history, natural resources, technology, and art through
hands on experiences and interactive learning. All registered teachers receive an educational packet that includes the
State Fair of Virginia Planning Guide and valuable classroom materials that will enhance the Fair experience.

Elementary School Level

Focus on history, social science and art competencies reflected in the State Fair's Heritage Village.

Middle School Level

Focus on art and technology competencies in the State Fair's Technology Center and the Better Living and Youth Center.

High School Level

Competencies for high school students are identified at specific tour stops - and will also be reflected in two special day-long events, Virginia FCCLA Day and DECA Day.
