LIVESTOCK LOOP and AGRICULTURAL AREA

The heart of the fair; animals and agriculture
abound. Young MacDonald’s Farm, tractors, farm equipment, livestock and small animals fill this area.
More fair food available here from catfish, hotdogs,
corndogs and barbecue to ice cream, fresh squeezed
fruit and vegetable juice, fruit smoothies and shaved ice.
Kids won’t want to miss the adventures of Rowdy Rooster.


MEDIA GENERAL TRAIL

Are you looking for new Adirondack furniture, cell phone accessories or an airbrush t-shirt? Have a craving for pizza, stromboli, elephant ears, funnel cakes, Dipping Dots or kettle corn? Take care of those cravings here along with cheddar nuggets and mozzarella sticks. Grab your official State Fair t-shirt and take a load off at the Theater Stage and listen to the tunes of musical artists and Uncle Tyrone, the kids’ comedian/ventriloquist.

SOUTH FESTIVAL LOOP

This area has all the basics from popcorn chicken, hotdogs, corndogs, sausage, barbecue, pizza, ice tea and slushies to the little different like like London broil, pork chops, tenderloins, seafood and Chinese food. Top off these fabulous meals with funnel cakes, lattes, deep fried everything or soft serve ice cream served from a 30 ft. cone! While enjoying these delicious foods relax at the Racing Pigs and the highflying K-9’s or get your adrenaline pumping while watching the ramp riders at the BMX Stunt Show. Throw in a little education finish off this area in Heritage Village, a living history.

KIDWAY and MIDWAY

Thrill seekers and kids of all ages will enjoy these areas with a ride for everyone. Win large and small stuffed animals and many other prizes at the many games, get more fair food and make sure you catch the the amazing Zerbini Family Circus.


FARM BUREAU CENTER

Don’t let the name fool you; this building covers shopping needs for all men and women. You can buy lottery tickets, take care of all your home improvement needs and check out a variety of vendors with clothing, jewelry, household items, leather goods, prepackaged foods, fresh roasted nuts, fudge, toys, artwork and purses. Relax in the seating area next to the indoor concession and enjoy a beer with your meal. Keep your eyes open for new novelties like hermit crabs and nail stamping art and enjoy a massage to get you through the day.

NORTH FESTIVAL LOOP

When visiting this area you can enjoy everything from sausage, hotdogs, hamburgers and pizza to crab cakes, shrimp creole, chicken and shrimp on a stick and gyros. No shortage of desserts here either with soft serve ice cream, funnel cakes and hot apple dumplings. See blue ribbon winning crafts and the famous State Fair quilt show. Also, check out Commonwealth Hall where we’ve gone “green” with vendors showcasing environmental friendly and sustainable products and services. Don’t forget to get your official State Fair t-shirt and other novelties!

EQUINE and FESTIVAL STAGE AREA

If horses and music are your thing, this is your area. Live concerts nightly from country to rock to R&B. The All American Cowgirl Chicks thunder in with 2 performances a day for the last 4 days of the fair. Catch the Pro rodeo with bull riding and team roping, high school rodeo and much more. Cowboy boots, hats, western clothing, horse trailers and food top off this area. This area also showcases the Aussie Kingdom with several shows a day and all day viewing of animals from down under.
