All Guests Subject to Search
For the safety of all individuals, everyone entering the event is subject to search. Metal detectors may be used. Weapons, contraband and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Anyone refusing search cannot be admitted.

ATM
There are ten Union First Market Bank ATMs at various locations throughout the grounds.

Baby Changing Stations
Located in selected restrooms throughout the grounds.

Camping

 Limited spaces within the South Campground located in the Equine Complex. $30 per night per space for hook up. (electric/water) 30 and 50 amp available. RV’s will be parked on a first come first serve basis. $10 per night per space for non utility hookup.

For Your Safety
Since 1981, all State Fair of Virginia rides have been inspected by a professional inspector, certified by the Commonwealth of Virginia, prior to the Fair’s opening day. Each ride receives a thorough inspection daily before it is operated.

First Aid
First Aid services are provided by Emergency Training Systems, Inc. They are located at the western end of Festival Loop and supplemented by roving bike teams throughout the property.

Handicapped Parking
Available upon entering Gate 1 off Route 30, let the attendant know that you need handicapped parking. You will be directed to a paved lot D, off Meadow Farm Road, Gate 6. On weekends, the paved lot B1, Meadow Farm Road, Gate 5 will be used for overflow.

Information
Need to know who, what, when and where? Fair Ambassadors, in blue hats and vests, are located throughout the grounds to answer questions and provide you with a daily schedule.

Lost and Found
Located in the State Fair office at Media General Trail and Festival Loop.

Lost Child Center
Located at Media General Trail and Festival Loop. Remind your child to find a uniformed officer if he or she becomes separated from you. State Fair personnel and police officers are ready to assist a lost child.

No Smoking
Please, no smoking in all ride and ticket lines, all buildings and tents, and the complete Kidway area.

Nursing Moms Station and Family Restrooms
A private area for nursing and diaper changing is available in Commonwealth Hall. Additionally, there are Family Restrooms in the back of the Farm Bureau Center.

Paging Booth
Located near the west entrance to the Farm Bureau Center across from Festival Loop.

Parking Lot Trams
Run daily 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Pet Policy
The State Fair of Virginia does not allow pets, with the exception of service animals.

Re-Entry
To leave the Fair and return the same day, obtain a hand stamp at the gate before you exit. No re-entry after 9 p.m. If you plan to leave the parking lot and return the same day, present to the parking lot attendant both your hand stamp and parking ticket.

Ride Requirements
Requirements for rides and attractions include height, weight and whether or not a child must be accompanied by an adult. These requirements are displayed at each ride and attraction, as well as the Midway Customer Services booth.

Rider Responsibility
Virginia State Law requires riders to obey all warnings and directions, and behave in a manner that will not cause or contribute to injuring themselves or others. Riders shall report all injuries before leaving. All injuries should be reported to First Aid.

Stroller and Wheelchair Services
Stroller, wheelchair, and electric wheelchairs will be available for rent at the Ticket Plaza.

Virginia State Police
The Virginia State Police Public Safety Operations Center is located on the east side of Union First Market Bank Hall.
