Admission pricing and ride pricing for the State Fair of Virginia is separate. This way, you only have to purchase what you need! Admissions tickets, ride ticket vouchers, and tickets for our V.I.P. Gala Event, "Black Tie and Boots" will go on sale on our website August 22nd.

Don't want the hassle of will call? Don't want to pay for mail delivery? You can still get your tickets in advance by selecting the e-ticket delivery option when purchasing your tickets online. Use this option and print your barcoded ticket from your own printer.

Ride Tickets
Purchase your ride tickets on the first day you come to the Fair. If you have tickets left over at the end of the day, use them any other day of the fair or pass them on to a friend. Individual ride tickets can NOT be purchased in advance of the Fair, however, you can still get your ride tickets once you arrive at a Ride Ticket Booth. Separate fair admission required. Ride Wristbands
A ride wristband allows one person to ride unlimited rides for one day. Ride Wristbands are good for one person on one day only and are available each of the 11 days of the Fair. Separate fair admission required.

$10 Ride Wristband SPECIAL
After 5:00 pm on Thursday, 9/29, Monday 10/3, Tuesday 10/4 or Wednesday 10/5, buy your Ride Wristband for only $10 and enjoy unlimited rides for the rest of the evening. Don’t forget, after 5:00 pm on those days, your separate fair admission is only $10 as well. What a great way to affordably enjoy the fair AND the rides!
