2010 Wine Competition

The goal of the State Fair of Virginia in conducting its 19th annual wine competition is to promote and showcase the Virginia wine industry.

All wines within the categories listed below and
produced in wineries within Virginia may be entered.
Wines must be received by July 9, 2010.

AWARDS

Gold, silver and bronze ribbons will be awarded in all categories at the judges’ discretion.
All gold ribbon winners will be notified the week of June 8, 2009. These winners will be
showcased at the Black Tie & Boots benefit gala on September 22, 2010.
One “2010 State Fair of Virginia Best of Show” ribbon will be awarded at Black
Tie & Boots. Winning wines will be on display during the State Fair of Virginia,
September 23 through October 3, 2010 at The Meadow Event Park.



NEW this year will be an award for the most ribbons awarded to a single winery.
